ATLAS AES (Automated Export System) As part of the international IT project ECS/AES (Export Control System/Automated Export System) under direction of
the European Commission and with cooperation of the EU member countries the German Customs Administration started converting the customs export procedure within the ATLAS IT process on 10th Jan.2005 with the country wide commence- ment of real time operation on first August 2006.¹
